DATES

ELIGIBILITY
All installation or new media works related to the moving image, interactive processes and digital media, and completed on or after January 1, 2001, are eligible for entry. An installation is considered to be any work which requires a specific configuration of physical space, whether in a gallery or another setting, for exhibition. An installation may use video, film, new media, or other formats and technologies. New media includes works using formats such as CD-ROM, the internet or other telecommunications technologies, etc., but not necessarily requiring a particular type of presentation space.
Installation and new media submissions should be accompanied by comprehensive and detailed documentation. This may include a preview cassette or disk of film/video/digital material used in the piece; drawings or floor plans; digital files (e.g. CD-ROM); URLs; photographic documentation; detailed written descriptions; in short, whatever is necessary for us to understand the work, how it would be presented, and what spatial and technical requirements would be necessary to exhibit the work. Please include a complete listing of equipment, space and technical requirements.
SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS
A typed or clearly printed completed entry form must be submitted for each work.
All applications must also include a synopsis of the work; a brief biography and list of previous works; complete production credits; and images to represent the work. Images may be in the form of good photographic prints or high-resolution (300 dpi or better) TIFF computer files on CD or ZIP disk. Label images clearly with your name and the title of the work. Good stills can make a difference in press coverage and promotion. Please do not email stills or submission information unless requested.
