imagineNATIVE’s International Networking Day brings together industry professionals and Indigenous creatives from around the globe.

imagineNATIVE invites Industry leaders to apply for the upcoming International Networking Day on October 25th, 2019. This highly successful and popular event consists of a 2-hour session of 10-minute one-on-one meetings.

We are currently seeking applications from those who wish to be “Industry Leaders” and take meetings with Indigenous creatives. Participants are matched with leaders according to their needs. 

The types of Industry leaders we are actively looking for include:

  • Sales Agents

  • Talent Agents

  • Production Companies 

  • Representatives from funding or granting organizations 

  • Private investors

  • Screen Institutions with funding for development, production, marketing and promotion

  • Distributors looking for projects in development as trigger financiers, or for acquisition of recently completed titles

  • Producers/Development Executives looking to collaborate on new projects or hire Indigenous professionals above and below-the-line on greenlit projects

Leaders are expected to attend a two-hour block of 10 minute meetings with Indigenous creatives with relevant projects or inquiries and will receive a complimentary Industry Pass for the imagineNATIVE Film + Media Arts Festival.

Indigenous creatives participating in the meetings will be looking for collaborative opportunities from development to distribution.

New this year, imagineNATIVE staff will curate the itinerary of meetings to maximize the potential for productive connections.
