Join us for the closing night of the 2017 Four Directions Festival at the Toronto Centre for the Arts on June 21 as we present a screening of Alanis Obomsawin’s documentary We Can’t Make the Same Mistake Twice.


The event also includes an indigenous drumming performance by Veronica Johnny and a discussion on Right Relations with Lee Maracle.

The event  is FREE and seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis

About the Film:

The new film from celebrated documentarian Alanis Obomsawin chronicles the events following the filing of a human-rights complaint by a group of activists, which charged that the federal government's woefully inadequate funding of services for Indigenous children constituted a discriminatory practice.
