imagineNATIVE's first book, Coded Territories: Tracing Indigenous Pathways in New Media Art, was published in October 2014. Created in partnership with Ryerson Image Centre - and published by the University of Calgary Press - Coded Territories is an anthology of essays written by leading Canadian Indigenous new media artists.
The publication is a much-needed resource in the academic, artistic and cultural discourse around Indigenous new media art. Edited by Steven Loft and Kerry Swanson, the book features essays by:

Coded Territories has been shortlisted for the 2015 Alberta Book of the Year by the Book Publishers Association of Alberta! Winners will be announced on 18 September 2015.
