Volunteer Coordinator

The Volunteer Coordinator provides support to the Volunteer Manager by maintaining the volunteer database, creating and presenting training materials, creating volunteer shifts and the volunteer schedule. The Volunteer Coordinator will also assist the Volunteer Manager with all Festival-related responsibilities online and in-person.

Additional Details

  • Fixed-term Contract: Immediate Start to June 26, 2026 (35 hours/week)
  • Compensation rate: $25.15/hour
  • Must be available to work occasional overtime during and in the lead-up to the dates of the imagineNATIVE Film + Media Arts Festival (taking place annually in June)

Communications Assistant

The Communications Assistant will support the Communications team in planning, executing, and reporting on all social media and communications-related initiatives. The Communications Assistant will assist in coordinating Festival photography and videography schedules, social media post creation and analysis of social media analytical data, writing and copy editing for various platforms, as well as other work to support the Communications department as needed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the schedules of Festival photographer and videographer teams as well as the schedules of videography interviews
  • Create, curate, and manage published content across imagineNATIVE’s social channels working with Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, other emerging channels and using publishing platforms such as Hootsuite
  • Actively monitor our social community
  • Collect and collate on impressions and other visitor data across all social channels to report on key analytics (i.e. demographics, engagement, impressions, etc)


Additional Details

  • Fixed-term contract: Fixed-term employment contract: April 27, 2026 to June 19, 2026 (35 hours/week)
  • Compensation rate: $23.15/hour
  • Must be available to work occasional overtime during and in the lead-up to event, including the annual festival and project launch dates

Box Office Coordinator

Reporting to the Box Office Manager and the Operations Manager, the Box Office Coordinator is responsible for assisting in building the internal structure of the Festival Box Office and its execution on-site.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assisting in building of the 2026 Festival ticket platform, Eventive, with help from the Operations Manager and the Box Office Manager
  • Collaborating with all departments to help them manage their ticket holds, allocations, packages, discounts, and other needs for organizations or school groups
  • Being present at the on-site Box Office at the TIFF Lightbox during the imagineNATIVE Film + Media Arts Festival
  • Testing, troubleshooting, and assisting customers who may have run into ticketing issues

  • Fixed Term Contract: March 23, 2026 – June 19, 2026 (35 hours/week)
  • Compensation Rate: $25.15/hour
  • Must be available to work occasional overtime during and in the lead-up to the dates of the imagineNATIVE Film + Media Arts Festival
  • Must be available on-site in downtown Toronto during May 31, 2026 – June 8, 2026
