Andrew Okpeaha MacLean (Iñupiaq) is an award-winning filmmaker born and raised in Alaska. He is known for his feature film On the Ice, which opened imagineNATIVE in 2011 and was awarded Best First Feature in 2011 and the Crystal Bear for Generations 14plus at the 2011 Berlin International Film Festival. He is currently an assistant arts professor in the Graduate Film Program at New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts.
