We're delighted to announce that Alethea Arnaquq-Baril's award-winning documentary, Angry Inuk will open our 17th Festival!!
Arnaquq-Baril sheds a powerful light on anti–seal hunting campaigns and the relevance of the hunt to the lives of the Inuit in the documentary which will screen as part our Opening Night Gala on Wednesday, October 19 at Hot Docs Ted Rogers Cinema!
Our Closing Night Gala this year is Bonfire, the debut work by Dmitrii Davydov, a rising Yakut filmmaker from Russia.
