imagineNATIVE Film + Media Arts Festival,

imagineNATIVE’s Sponsor an Artist Program is aimed at bringing as many artists to this year’s festival as possible. imagineNATIVE is the largest informal market for Indigenous-made film and media works in the world, and the only one of its kind in Canada.  Attendance at the festival can dramatically enhance the professional and artistic development of artists at all levels of their career, providing unique training, networking, and artistic opportunities in an intimate and inspiring environment.  Indigenous artists travel from all over the globe to attend each year. With many travelling from remote communities, coupled with rising travel costs, you can assist numerous artists who would otherwise be unable to experience this career-altering festival!
 
All donations to this program will directly subsidize a non-local Indigenous filmmaker’s attendance at this year’s festival.

 

*All artists participating in the festival are selected for travel at the discretion of imagineNATIVE. 
 
I have to say that the imagineNATIVE film festival was by far the highlight of my year! I shall dine out on the happy memories I came home with for years! I certainly hope to come back next year. I learned so much, made new friends, and left with a great sense of pride in what we all achieved over those five days. Opening Night was definitely unbeatable!
