Layers of images, text, and sound are repurposed in this video work. Using an experimental and first-person documentary approach, the physical and emotional challenges experienced by millions of people who struggle with debilitating fatigue and exhaustion are examined.
Marnie Parrell (Metis) is a filmmaker, writer and artist whose work has been presented internationally. Parrell’s films are hybrids: short, experimental, narrative, and documentaries. She also has an interest in wearable electronics and found objects/art, where she continues to bridge the gaps between high and low tech.
