Discover, Learn and Meet the Industry’s best in media arts, craft and business, in the ONLY event of its kind! FREE and open to the public – with over 11 panels, workshops and networking events, come and participate in events that would cost you hundreds of dollars at other Festivals in Toronto!

Discover: New or seasoned artists will enjoy events aimed at all levels of experience. The festival aims to create a relaxed, laid back and informative event for participants of various skills to enjoy. Come make new connections and relationships with visiting artists and over 700 festival delegates!

Learn: Featuring leading Indigenous artists and Industry leaders, come experience:

  • Panels and workshops on funding, distribution and acquisitions, creative practices, new technologies for artistic expression and Master Classes. These discussions will tap into the pulse of issues and inspirations affecting Indigenous media arts
  • Pitch Competitions – Documentary and Dramatic TV Series pitchers vie for over $10,000 of in-kind services and support! (pitchers are selected pre-Festival) – past winners have been programmed at imagineNATIVE, broadcast on TV and successfully accessed new funding envelopes for their projects
  • Showcase your work in the Festival’s on-site Mediatheque, which is viewed for programming and acquisition exclusively by Industry delegates
